Getting poor peak shape of CI tune ions.  I hardly see any of the calibration ions.  The methane is also has a very poor response.

I would check a few things:

- what is the vacuum
- Could you tune the system in EI
- when is the last time you cleaned the source
- what does air/water look like
- can you adjust the methane flow?
- try deleting the tune file
- what is the column flows
- do you have adequate methane pressure
- what is the quality of methane
- did it work before

[6 x 10(-5)]
- Could you tune the system in EI
[Yes]
- when is the last time you cleaned the source
[Brand New, never been used]
- what does air/water look like
[EI- N2 <2%]
- can you adjust the methane flow?
[Yes]
- try deleting/rebuilding from default the tune file
[Tried that]
- what is the column flows
[1 ml/min]
- do you have adequate methane pressure
[Yes]
- what is the quality of methane
[Reagent Grade, using on a another system]

Thanks for answering all the questions.  Ahhh, I forgot to ask, did this occur immediately after switching to CI?
