How do I restore a default tune file?

There are a couple of ways to overwrite the atune.u or other tune files. The easiest is to go to configuration manager and edit the instrument you are using. (you don't have to make any changes). When you click on "OK" button, the software will automatically overwrite the atune.u file.
I usually overwrite the file manually. To do this, just use windows file explorer and go to the MSSetup folder. GO to the folder of the model MS you have and copy the tune files from there into the D:\mass hunter\GCMS\[1-4] folder there [1-4[ is the instrument number. When prompted overwrite the file.
